There are so many great ideas on the web when it comes to toddler stilts—and a lot of them use items commonly found around the house. Hooray for convenience!

This week me and my little guy made these Elephant feet from Martha Stewart. They took about ten minutes from start to finish—gotta love an easy project.

The only change we made was using a circle punch to cut out the blue toes which I then cut in half and glued on with a glue stick—the original instructions say to paint them on.

Have fun walking around in another creatures shoes ... er .. I mean feet. :)

I'm loving this colder weather! K ... maybe I don't really enjoy being out in the weather itself ... I just really like the cute outfits I get to wear. Layering my clothes in the winter is so much fun! Mixing and matching different pieces is a great trick I use to stretch my limited wardrobe—It makes me feel like I have an overflowing closet because the combinations are endless. 

Little Paper Dog

As  far as trends go boots, cardigans, scarves ... I'm a sucker for every single one of ya. I wore boots a lot last winter and this year I've started adding scarves to the mix. Here I simply tied the ends of my scarf into a knot and placed it over my head like a necklace. Done!

It's almost time for the big countdown to begin and I've been keeping my eyes open for the perfect advent calendar. Although this Kid Friendly Friday post is not focused on something we actually did during the week I thought I'd let it slide this time. ;)

free printable holiday gift tags

If you've been hanging out at my blog for a while then you probably recognize these holiday gift tags. They are inspired by vintage ornaments that once hung on my grandpa's Christmas tree.

As my grandpa got older my family would decorate his tree for him every year—after he passed I was lucky enough to keep his tree topper.

This year I've decided to retire these tags from my shop and share them with you an early Christmas present. Goodie goodie gum drops!
