DIY luggage tags

 

{All dolled up and ready to go!}  

 

My goodness I'm so excited to be going on a new adventure! My suitcases were without luggage tags ... which I'm sure is pretty important when traveling by plane .... ;) Who says they can't be cute? Not me.

1. Using scraps of paper and ribbon that I already had at home, I made some cheerful luggage tags I for my latest adventure.

 

2. I used my trusty typewriter to type my name, address and phone number.

 

3. Laminated them for super duper durability.

4. Along with my luggage tag, I attached some colorful ribbon to my suitcase handle to make it easy to spot in a crowd.

 

surprise shopping trip

My little sister and I were floored last week when we discovered that our husbands have been secretly planning a trip for the two of us. My sis currently lives on the opposite side of the US so we only see each other once or twice a year. We met half way at the Mall of America. I was stunned to find out that our guys had planned such thoughtful sister time .... but a shopping trip too? Score!
