etsy seller — danger crafts

My little guy has been a bit of a monster this week. Blasted teething! He reminds me of these creatures from Danger Crafts because he has the ability of being both grouchy and adorable simultaneously.

I am not only smitten with these sweet knitting patterns but also the names Rebecca Danger of Danger Crafts has given them. Some of them include Maddox the Mischievous Monster and Penelope the Empathetic Monster.

(Love the pink tutu.)
This one bears an uncanny resemblance to the faces my little guy was pulling the other morning. Come to think of it ... I think his face may have even turned that same shade ... stripes and all.

After ya check out her shop stop by her blog to download a free pattern too!

happy earth day

What would be more fitting than celebrating Earth Day with a post featuring sellers from Etsy's Natural Kids Team? This team is full of talented shops who create products for children using natural materials (aka biodegradable).

Now ... let me introduce you to some sweet, lovable babies babies babies!

1. Newborn Baby Hat by Burry Babies
2. Seaglass Patchwork Quilt by Peanut Tree

3. Organic Lambswool Jacket by Natural Star
4. Disco Dots Newborn Noonie by Lala's Pequenos
It just so happens that this is the last week until my big sis leaves work to have her baby. Hooray! I can't wait to kiss those little cheeks when he arrives. :)

$5 gift budget

Wow ... what a long absence since my last post. I have been working on redesigning my husbands website during all of my free time and its been a bit overwhelming to say the least. Only having an itty bitty ... well lets just say no experience in the web design world (I'm much more comfortable with print) I'm a bit sluggish at putting it all together.

I've missed chatting with you ever so much ... I haven't even shared my Easter goodies with you. That's quite a shame so I decided to do a VERY belated post on this topic. Don't worry, these items are not particularly Easter themed.

This is the Easter "basket" my husband gave me. All types of seeds for my little garden and chocolate Dove eggs ... yum! We set a limit of $5 for each other and I think he did quite well.

One of the items that I found for my sons basket were these Scribble Mats. You can color on them with crayon and they wipe clean with a paper towel and a little water. They were purchased from our local dollar store so I was not sure just how well they would work but I am pleased to report I was happily surprised.

I promise to be better this week at updating the blog. Thanks for your patience. :)

hunting for cute cupcake liners

Wow! Sorry about not showing up last week. I wish it was because I was on vacation or business required I make a quick trip to Rome but I regret to say it was not so glamorous. I spent the majority of my week in bed while using an insane amount of Kleenex and cough drops. Anyways I'm almost 100% better and have missed chatting with you. :)

I had a very strange dream last night (probably a side effect of all those cough drops) ... most of it made absolutely no sense at all ... somehow it centered around me searching for adorable cupcake liners.

Perhaps tomorrow I will dream about pretty tape.
